DANOC
History
The year was 1910. William Howard Taft was President of the United
States. Thomas Alva Edison debuted his latest invention, the talking
motion picture. The new Army Air Corps performed it's first flight.
A.S.W. Grundy expanded his dry goods business at 944 Hyde Street to
include the manufacture of uniforms for the professional men and women
of San Francisco. Danoc is still a neighborhood business, but our
"neighborhood" has grown to include customers throughout the world.
Since 1910, our geographical headquarters has changed, first to 1214
Sutter Street, then to Sacramento, and our product line has changed to
meet the needs of today's professionals. Throughout, the policy by which
we have operated since our doors first opened remains unchanged -
QUALITY FIRST.
RACING
Racing...In no other sport are the stakes so high and the intensity so
extreme. Racing is also big business and the budget required to field a
competitive team at every level continues to increase. A large part of
your ability to attract and maintain sponsors is the look of your team.
To be a champion you must look like a champion--you know it and we know
it. We understand the business of racing and can help you put together
an apparel package for your crew, your sponsors, as well as your fans.
Give us the opportunity to be a part of your racing program and together
we will create the look that makes you a leader.
So, has MotoWear enjoyed success for nearly 100 years because we
associate with winning teams, or are our customers successful because we
help them create a winning team image?
